Hilton Garden Inn Des Moines Airport

We've stayed here a few times now for the proximity to the airport, which is very convenient. The staff are always great and the hotel itself and rooms have always been clean and nice. No complaints. The adjoining restaurant is also convenient and delicious.

There aren't enough stars that could describe the service we received today at the Hilton Garden Inn. It's Corbin's first day but we could have never guessed it. He served us with a big smile and a very respectful demeanor. We had slight miscommunication with the hotel when we checked if our room was ready early. The phone call remained professional at all times but he knew that there was more that could be done. Corbin and his manager took it upon themselves to call us back to make sure we were taken care of. They went way above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and relaxing. We had a few rooms reserved for a group of us and they made sure to get all of our rooms next to one another. When I return to Des Moines I will not stay anywhere else besides at this Hilton. I hope Corbin remains at the Hilton. He is an asset to the Hilton team. Hilton, he's a keeper. Thank you for your fabulous hospitality.

The service here is incredible and the hotel is perfect for a one night stay. The restaurant connected is amazing for dinner and the breakfast buffet is an elevated experience. Charlotte and team really helped us in a pinch with early check in after dealing with 2 flat tires that left us stuck for a day on our road trip. We are so glad we stayed here.

Excellent stay. The hotel was spotless, well maintained, and very welcoming. Housekeeping did an outstanding job throughout our stay. The entire staff was courteous and professional, and MORGAN in particular deserves recognition for exceptional customer service. Morgan was friendly, attentive, and made the experience noticeably better. Having an onsite restaurant was very convenient, especially when traveling. This will be the only hotel we stay at near the DSM airport going forward. Highly recommended.

I want to say thank you to all the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn. The food and service was absolutely amazing! Our waiter was Latoya and she made sure we had the best meals.Also the front desk staff was so helpful ESPECIALLY MRS. MICHELLE! My parents and I came from Texas to visit my son and was trying to return back but was stuck in a snow blizzard right after Thanksgiving she was so helpful. Michelle made sure to let us know what is going with our flights each time and that we were comfortable. Ms. Charlotte handled delayed flights customers with professionalism even when they were anxietious.I truly appreciated ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. Thank you so much for taking great care of us!!! Location is perfect if staying at the airport is the plan. The van needs to be requested but is prompt. The hotel room was clean and I appreciated the comfy chair which seems to be missing in a lot of rooms these days. The bar was great and we had an evening meal catered for our meeting which was good. The breakfast really let it down. Sort of basic motel stuff and not much choice. What's more it they wanted money for it but there are no other choices.

My mother flew into Des Moines and could not make it to her destination and was able to get a room here and they provided a shuttle to the hotel. The staff treated her so kindly and helped her with needs and made sure she was well taken care of. They even let her do a late checkout the next day because her ride was delayed due to weather. I could not be more pleased with they way they treated her. Thank you!!

I accidentally booked my room for the wrong date and didn’t realize it until I tried to check in the night before my intended stay. The front desk associate was unable to cancel the original reservation at that time, and no managers were available since I arrived late. As a result, I paid for a second room for the correct date. She assured me she would speak with the manager to see if anything could be done. Once I got back from my trip the manager, Chris, handled the situation professionally and courteously. He ultimately approved a refund for the incorrect reservation, which I truly appreciated. Both he and the front desk staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and customer service. The room itself was excellent, and despite my own booking mistake, I had a very comfortable stay before our early morning flight. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone flying out of Des Moines Airport!
